Coffee And Regret is the official website of Luke Hatton, and it is the forum by which he can showcase his lyrics, poetry and other writing. Within these pages you will find a comprehensive listing of Luke’s poetry and lyrics, plus a detailed profile, important copyright information and links to some of Luke’s favourite artists and writers. Coffee And Regret is updated on a semi-regular basis, and new poems and lyrics are submitted to the site periodically, so please keep checking back. If you would like to contact Luke, you are advised to address all comments and feedback via the contact page. However, please understand that Luke is very busy, and while he will make every effort to respond to all the emails he receives, unfortunately he cannot guarantee that he will answer them all. Nonetheless, he would like to offer thanks in advance for your comments and feedback. All the poetry and lyrics contained in this website are saved as PDF documents. If you do not already have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can download the latest version for free at http://www.adobe.com. Luke has a rich respect for a myriad of writers and artists, and is influenced by many diverse poets, such as Charles-Pierre Baudelaire, Pablo Neruda, William Blake, Arthur Rimbaud, and Lynn Crosbie. He is equally inspired and influenced by the works of songwriters and lyricists, such as Tori Amos, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Martin Walkyier, Matthew Ryan and Maynard James Keenan. Luke is the proud owner of the Victoria Cross, although no one is sure if he was awarded it legitimately or if he stole it. He considers the most powerful and influential human emotions to be indifference, devastation and regret.
